WordCamp NZ is currently putting out an active call for speakers – if you’re interested in doing either a 10-20 minute lightening talk, a 30-60 minute session then contact us.
The two-day conference will be held at the Mt. Victoria Bowling Club and will feature Matt Mullenweg as a keynote speaker along with hands-on sessions focused on the WordPress platform and the community around it.

Matt Mullenweg – ma.tt
Best known as the founding developer of WordPress, Matt Mullenweg will be giving the keynote presentation at WordCamp New Zealand.
Dan Milward – Instinct Entertainment
Dan Milward is a New Zealand based developer and entrepreneur working with Instinct, makers of (amongst other things) the WordPress e-Commerce Plugin and will be showing us how to setup an e-Commerce site in under 5 minutes using WordPress.
Harley Alexander – Baffle! Inc
Harley writes online tutorials and tips for WordPress and has recently completed co-writing the book How to Be a Rockstar WordPress Designer.
Anthony Cole – Fresh Pacific Media
Anthony is a freelance web developer and student based in Dunedin, New Zealand. He is currently participating in Google Summer of Code for WordPress building an event management suite which he will demonstrate at WordCamp.
